About The Friends of Coal Ladies Auxiliary
The Friends of Coal Ladies Auxiliary was founded in 2007 by Regina Fairchild. A non-profit organization, headquartered in Beckley, W.Va., seeks to inform about the importance of coal and to support coal miners and their families. Initially 2,000 members located in West Virginia, but because of the dedicated support, the Friends of Coal Ladies Auxiliary has grown into a nationwide organization of thousands of members.
Coal is an integral part our nation’s success. The primary goal of the Friends of Coal Ladies Auxiliary is to raise awareness about the positive benefits of coal and the individuals who work to mine it for the country.
Since 2007, the Friends of Coal Ladies Auxiliary has become active participants in other charities, supporting troops in Iraq with donations of food and supplies and supporting local conservation projects. Among these projects, members work hard by donating their time and efforts to raise money for coal awareness.
